Is there a limit to the number of memberships a member can have within a group?

No, there is no hard limit on the number of memberships a member can hold, either individually or as part of a group.

Individual memberships

A single member can be enrolled in multiple plans at the same time. For example, a member could have:

  • A standard gym membership (monthly)
  • A personal training package (10 sessions)
  • A yoga add-on (quarterly)

Each membership is tracked independently with its own duration, renewal date, and transaction record.

Group memberships

Within a membership group, there is no fixed cap on how many members can be included. A group can have two members (e.g. a couple) or many members (e.g. a corporate wellness programme).

Each member in a group still has their own individual profile, attendance history, and health data — the group only links them under a shared plan and renewal date.

Practical considerations

While there is no technical limit, keep in mind:

  • Each membership generates its own transaction record, so financial reports will reflect all plans separately.
  • For large groups, it is good practice to use descriptive plan names so it is easy to identify which plan belongs to which category of members.
